For sale are 40 Green Giant Plants (Thuja standishii x plicata ‘Green Giant’) that are rooted in 2.5" containers and are approximately 6-12 inches tall. ------ One of the finest evergreens for screening and specimen use, this uniformly conical tree performs well in a variety of settings. Strong-rooted, it responds well to shearing. Durable accent or specimen tree. Evergreen. Grows quickly to 25 to 30 feet tall and 10 to 12 feet wide. Mature height if left untrimmed can reach up to 40-60' tall. ------ Hardiness Zone: 5-8 ------ The needled evergreen needs full sun to partial shade. ------- Used for hedges, this plant will tolerate a wide range of soil types and some dry conditions. ------ When used for screening, plant 5-6' apart. A growing arborvitae, grows tall with a dense narrow, pyramidal habit. ------- In favorable locations, tree may grow 3-4' per year.
